Everette W. Christner, age 34, of North English, Iowa, passed away Thursday, April 7, 2016 in Washington, Iowa.
Calling hours will begin 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 15, 2016 at the Jones & Eden Funeral Home in Washington, Iowa. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Saturday, April 16, 2016 at the Jones & Eden Funeral Home. Interment will be private. Everette was born May 15, 1981 in Iowa City, Iowa, the son of Nick Christner and Virginia Marek. He graduated from Woodward Granger High School in 1999. Everette was united in marriage to Samantha Glaude on October 15, 2013 in Washington County, Iowa.
While in school, Everette was active in FFA and Boyscouts. He helped Kurt Hora with his farming operation. Everette enjoyed Civil War history and was involved in reenactments. He was a member of the Faith Christian Outreach Church in Fairfield, Iowa. Everette was a loving and caring father and loved to spend time with his family, especially his son.
He leaves behind his wife, Samantha Christner of North English, Iowa; son, Ryker Christner of North English, Iowa; father, Nick Christner of Galesburg, Illinois; brother, Ron Williams and wife Suzi of Wellman, Iowa; brother, Mike Williams and wife Deb of Washington, Iowa; brother, Joe Christner and wife Mistina of Oxford, Iowa; sister, Nicole Christner of Galesburg, Illinois; and numerous nieces and nephews including Anthony, Chris, Zach, Michael and Jason Williams.
Everette was preceded in death by his mother; grandparents, Lloyd and Margie Marek; great-grandparents, Vincent and Carrie Marek; uncle, Joe Marek; nephew, R.J. Williams; and niece, Kisha Williams.
