Erma Pauline Dolezal, age 80, Iowa City, Iowa, died Monday, January 21, 2013 at Mercy Hospital following an eight month battle with cancer.

Erma Pauline was born December 8, 1932 in Sigourney, Iowa, the daughter of Paul Hayes and Erma Laeuna (Wagner) Miller. She attended school in Sigourney and graduated from Sigourney High School. On April 9, 1994 Erma Pauline was united in marriage to Albert Dolezal Jr. in Coralville, Iowa.
Erma Pauline worked in the billing department of the University of Iowa Hospitals until her retirement. She previously worked at a Photography Studio in Iowa City. She enjoyed photography, reading and wintering in Arizona.
She is survived by her step-son, Bernard "Bernie" Dolezal and wife Teresa of Iowa City, Iowa; sister, Dorothy Hiller of Evansdale, Iowa; sister, Frances Feuerhelm and husband Bert of Peaster, Texas and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one sister, Helen Wahlin; and one brother, Homer Miller.
