Dolores Sue "Dori" Dillavou, age 45, of Columbus Junction, Iowa, formerly of Washington, Iowa, died Monday, November 22, 2021.
Celebration of life services will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Sunday, November 28, 2021, at LD's Bar and Grill in rural Ainsworth, Iowa. The Jones & Eden Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be sent for Dori's family through the web at

Dori was born December 29, 1975, in Bloomfield, Iowa, the daughter of Verlyn and Nina Ruth (Mason) Scott. She attended elementary school in Bloomfield and junior high and high school in Washington. Dori was married to Mark Dillavou in 1994. They later divorced.
Dori lived most of her life in Washington before moving to Columbus Junction in 2018. She worked as a manager of Tyson Foods in Columbus Junction for 15 years. Dori was a lover of nature. She enjoyed camping, traveling, and most importantly, being with her family.
She is survived by daughter, Dakota Dillavou of Columbus Junction, Iowa; son, Dillon Dillavou of Fairfield, Iowa; daughter, Leiloni Anthony of Verona, Missouri; six grandchildren: Jorden Dillavou, Aurora Entsminger, Milo Cole, Kayson Dillavou, Theodore Dillavou, Daisy Allred; mother, Nina Scott of New Hampshire; brother, Mark Mason of Washington, Iowa; sister, Tammy Buelna and husband Edward of Columbus Junction, Iowa; and nieces and nephews: Elizabeth Mason, Mercedes Buelna, Rebecca Buelna and Michael Buelna.
Dori was preceded in death by her father.
