Dick Ray Kirkbride, age 65, of Washington, Iowa, died Sunday, June 27, 2021, at his residence following a lengthy illness.
Celebration of life services will be held 3:30 p.m. Saturday, July 3, 2021, at the Jones & Eden Funeral Home with Pastor Joseph Brown officiating. The family will be present to receive friends from 2:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Private family interment will take place at a later date. A general memorial has been established. Dick was born February 17, 1956, in Adair County, Missouri, the son of Alfred R. and Vivian E. (Casady) Kirkbride. He attended school in Washington, Iowa. Dick was united in marriage to Mary Diener on June 17, 2014.
Dick lived most of his life in Washington, Iowa. He worked at Rath Packing Plant for many years and worked at various jobs in the Washington area. He enjoyed drawing.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Kirkbride of Washington, Iowa; son, Robert Kirkbride of Fairfield, Iowa; son, Zachary Kirkbride of Mt. Pleasant, Iowa; daughter, Airiana Kirkbride of Mt. Pleasant, Iowa; and several grandchildren.
Dick was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Jackie Cooper.
