Diana Marie Cavin, age 68, of Washington, Iowa, passed away Friday, March 20, 2026, at the Iowa City Rehabilitation Facility in Iowa City.

Celebration of life services will be held at a later date with interment in the North English Cemetery. A general memorial has been established. The Jones & Eden Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be sent for Diana’s family at www.jonesfh.com.

Diana was born March 10, 1958, in Washington, Iowa, the daughter of Ernest and Donna (Moffit) Perrin. She graduated from Washington High School in 1976. She was united in marriage to Dale Ray Cavin.

Diana lived most of her life in the Washington area where she worked at area nursing homes as a prep cook and dishwasher. She loved to crochet, draw, color, and enjoyed going to parks. Diana was an avid Elvis Presley fan. She cherished the time spent with her family, her best friend, Nancy Seering and her bird, Kiefer.

She is survived by her daughter, Vicky Cavin of Sigourney, Iowa; daughter, Darlene Cavin of Coralville, Iowa; son, Tony Cavin of Iowa City, Iowa; grandchildren, Lexi and Dylan; and two brothers, Chuck Perrin and Paul Perrin.

Diana was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Kaleb; and siblings, Marvin Perrin, Don Perrin and Kathy Perrin.
