Dennis W. "Denny" Miller, 70, of Keota died Tuesday April 6, 2010 at his residence following a four month battle with cancer.

Celebration of life services will be held 10:30 am Saturday April 10, 2010 at the First Assembly of God Church in Washington with Pastor Jim Cluney officiating. Interment will take place at Tyrone Cemetery in rural Keota. Visitation will begin at 12:00 pm Friday at the First Assembly of God Church where the family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Memorials have been established to First Assembly of God Church and Hospice of Washington County. Online condolences may be sent for Denny's family through the web at www.jonesfh.com . Denny was born on January 26, 1940 in Washington County, Iowa the son of Waldo and Eileen (Tinnes) Miller. He attended Tyrone Country School and graduated from Keota High School. Denny was united in marriage to Joy Waterhouse on July 4, 1964 at the Grace Hill Moravian Church. He lived all of his life in Washington County. Denny farmed the Dutch Creek area in Washington County. He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Washington. He served in the National Guard in the 1960's. Denny enjoyed working in his shop repairing things, and going to farm sales.

Denny is survived by his wife, Joy Miller of Keota; daughter, Laura Bombei and husband Steve of Keota; son, Brian Miller and wife Peg of Livermore, Colorado; six grandchildren, Taylor, Justine, and Clint Bombei; Kylee, Elijah, and Emma Miller; and his mother, Eileen Miller of Keota.

He was preceded in death by his father, Waldo Miller.
