Dennis was born June 8, 1968, in Litchfield, Illinois, the son of Dennis Dean and Beverly Ann (Murphy) Williams. He graduated from Canton High School in 1986. Dennis was united in marriage to Jennifer Young on April 4, 1992, in Canton, Illinois.
In 1998, Dennis and Jennifer moved to Washington, Iowa. Dennis worked at Hardee’s for 13 years, serving three of those years as manager. He later worked at Tyson Foods in Columbus Junction as the Wastewater Treatment Manager for 21 years. Dennis was very intelligent and always had a thirst for knowledge. He was invited to speak at wastewater conferences about cost-saving methods he developed for Tyson – an accomplishment he was especially proud of. Dennis also drove a school bus for the Washington Community School District for several years. He loved the kids on his bus route so very much!
Dennis enjoyed traveling, family vacations, photography, reading, fishing, and listening to music. He had an extensive vinyl records collection and also enjoyed collecting movies and comic books. Above all, Dennis treasured his family. His life revolved around them. He loved family gatherings and fiercely adored his daughters, often bragging about their accomplishments. He was incredibly proud of them.
He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Williams of Washington, Iowa; daughter, Rhianna Williams of Marshalltown, Iowa; daughter, Lydia Williams of Washington, Iowa; sister, Tina (Ralph) Foose of Farmington, Illinois; sister, Michelle (Justin) Hagy of Canton, Illinois; father and mother-in-law, Phillip and Carolyn Young of Machesney Park, Illinois; brother-in-law, Jeff (Ann) Young of Rockton, Illinois; sister-in-law, Sheila Vaughn of Canton, Illinois; as well as 16 nieces and nephews.
