WASHINGTON – Dennis Hartman, 74, of Washington, died Friday, March 22, 2024, at his home in Washington.
Dennis was born December 30, 1949, near Mediapolis, IA, the son of Lester Sr. and Winfield (Hanhalt) Hartman. He graduated from Morning Sun High School. On June 13, 1972, Dennis was united in marriage to Deborah Richardson. Dennis was a welder, did construction and was a diesel mechanic.
Dennis is survived by his wife Deb; four children, David (Karen) Hartman of Washington, Heidi Ewoldt of Sigourney, Carla (Jeff) Sly of Gowrie, Keith (Kara) Hartman of New London, nine grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and a sister. He was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers and a sister.

A visitation will be held Saturday, March 30, 2024, from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. at the Jones and Eden Funeral Home in Washington. A memorial fund has been established to assist the family with funeral expenses.
