David Vincent Tellin, age 81, of Aurora, Illinois, formerly of Washington, Iowa, died Thursday, August 1, 2019 at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox, Illinois.

David was born December 11, 1937 in Washington, Iowa, the son of Vince and Leone (Simpson) Tellin. He served in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany. After his service he worked for many years at U.S. Steel in Aurora, Illinois. The past nine years he resided at Spring Creek Nursing Center in Joliet, Illinois.
He is survived by his daughter, Shelley Lynn Neheedy; son, Brad White; two brothers: Jerry Tellin of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Don Tellin of Oregon and 2 sisters, Vernita Hettrich of Oswego, IL, and Dorothy White of Washington, IA.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Patsy Halverson and Carol Wright.
