Darrell Eugene Beal, age 67, of Brighton, Iowa, died Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at the Select Specialty Hospital in Davenport, Iowa.

The family will be present to receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Monday, November 29, 2021, at the Jones & Eden Funeral Home. Interment will take place at a later date. Darrell was born August 29, 1954, in Dixon, Missouri, the son of Benjamin Dewey and Eva (Russell) Beal. He attended school in Dixon, Missouri. Darrell was united in marriage to Deette Johnson on November 9, 1973, in Wellman, Iowa.

Darrell lived most of his adult life in Brighton, Iowa. He was a self employed salvage dealer. He enjoyed fishing, singing karaoke and collecting antiques.

He is survived by his wife, Deette Beal of Brighton, Iowa; daughter, Cassie Beal of Brighton, Iowa; son, Jamie Lynn Beal of Sigourney, Iowa; two grandchildren: Miranda Beal and Skyler Beal; two great grandchildren: Liam and Korbyn Alexander; two sisters, Cora May Foster of Dixon, Missouri; Annie Faye Larock of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; four brothers: Charles Beal of Dixon, MO; Clarence Beal of Paris, MO; Larry Beal of Moberly, MO; Calvin Beal of Rush Hill, MO; and many nieces and nephews.

Darrell was preceded in death by his parents; and eight siblings: Lucille Catrun, Raymond Beal, James Beal, Kathryn Catrun, Dorothy Tapley, Francis Beal, Roger Beal and Helen Beal.
