Danny Mann, age 59, of Washington, Iowa, died Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at the Washington Care Center in Washington following a lengthy illness.

Celebration of life services will be held 11:00 am Friday October 29, 2010 at the Jones - Eden Funeral Home with Pastor Gene Carpenter officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Friday at the Jones - Eden Funeral Home. Interment will take place at the Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington. Danny was born May 22, 1951 in Keokuk, Iowa the son of Horace and Pansy Mann. He attended school in Keokuk. Danny was united in marriage to Ann Smith in 1970. They later divorced. In his earlier years Danny worked for a grocery store in Keokuk. He worked for Sheller Globe in Keokuk for 22 years before retiring due to his health. Danny moved to Washington in 2005. He enjoyed cooking, gardening, flowers, movies, music, and bird watching.

Danny has seven sisters, Alvina, Glenda, Mary, Delores, Judy, Carolyn and Nita; and four brothers, Jack, Gibb, Bill and Larry.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
