Daniel Moeller was born January 22, 1961, in Washington, Iowa, the oldest son of James and Eileen (Vittetoe) Moeller. He grew up in a loving family including sister, Bonita (Carl) Voss of Lexington, KY; brothers, David (Kris) Moeller of Keota, Iowa; Edward (Susan) Moeller of Washington, Iowa; Donald (Sarah) Moeller of Washington, Iowa; and sister, Nancy (Jason) Bell of Washington, Iowa.

Dan was a devoted and loving uncle to Erika (Michael) Mahlbacher, Caleb Voss, Allison (Taylor) McKibbon, Lauren (Joe) Pins, Logan (Arissa) Moeller, Nikole (Jared) Eichelberger, Matt (fiance, Carly Shelman) Moeller, Vanessa Moeller, Hunter Bell, Jameson Bell, Demeri Bell, and great nephew, Luke Eichelberger. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and very special friends.

Dan grew up on the family farm west of Washington and attended school in Washington, Iowa. He worked at the Washington County Developmental Center, United Presbyterian Home, and thoroughly enjoyed his 19 plus years working at the Kalona Cheese Factory. Most recently he worked at Bazooka-Farmstar and Advanced Employment Services.

Dan had a servant's heart, always wanting to help others. He never forgot a special event and sent cards to all of his friends and family for birthdays and anniversaries. Dan's mode of transportation was his bicycle which he rode everywhere and in all kinds of weather and seasons.

To Dan, happiness was his faith, family and friends. He also enjoyed taking care of his flowers and plants and always cheering on the Washington Demons. He was a lifelong member of St. James Catholic Church and enjoyed being an altar server for many years. He was very active in his church, Knights of Columbus, Faith Formation, Bible studies, Lions Club and numerous prayer groups and retreats. For over 30 years, he loved his experiences at Camp REECE. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, playing cards and making daily phone calls.

Dan was a child of God who lived his life to the fullest. Even in passing, as an organ donor, he continues helping others. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.
