Crystal B. Barber, age 88, of Washington, Iowa, died Thursday, February 08, 2018, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.

Crystal was born October 3, 1929, in Libertyville, Iowa, the daughter of Ernest E. and Beatrice A. (Winter) Crawford. She was united in marriage to Leo Barber on December 4, 1965, in Moline, Illinois.
Crystal has lived in Washington since December of 2017. She previously lived in Keosauqua, Fairfield and Davenport. She was the office manager for FW Means Company in Davenport for 19 years. Crystal was a member of Salina Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by three sisters, Helen (Junior) Gohn of Fairfield, IA; Mary Knerr of Washington, IA; Margaret Mangold of West Chester, IA; one brother, Tom Crawford of Washington, IA; and many nieces and nephews.
Crystal was preceded in death by her parents; husband in 2010; five sisters: Eva Crawford,Alvena Knerr, Virginia Letts, Shirley Knerr, Betty Stigers; and two brothers, Harold Crawford and John Crawford.
