Corrine L. Sinn, age 78, of Wayland, Iowa, died Saturday, October 25, 2014, at the Parkview Home in Wayland.

Celebration of life services will be held Friday, October 31, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at the Independent Bible Church in Wayland with Pastor Robert Wolf officiating. Interment will be private. Corrine was born March 18, 1936, in Washington, Iowa, the daughter of Elmer and Beulah (Rich) Vinton. She attended country school in rural Henry County and graduated from Wayland High School. Corrine was united in marriage to Rex Sinn on April 24, 1955 in Nashua, Iowa.

Corrine was a truck driver for Sinn Hog Buying Station from 1958 until 1999. She also ran the office and purchased hogs for the livestock business. Corrine was a faithful member of the Independent Bible Church in Wayland where she helped in any way she could. She loved riding motorcycles and rode through every state, including Alaska and Canada, with her husband. Corrine enjoyed reading and sewing and excelled at everything she did.

She is survived by her husband, Rex Sinn of Wayland, IA and her foster son, Randy Lee.

Corrine was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Gene Vinton; and sister-in-law, Evelyn Vinton.
