Charles Albert Miller, age 64, of Brighton, Iowa, died Monday, November 9, 2015, at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Iowa City, Iowa, following a long illness.
Memorial services will be held at a later date in Bowling Green, Missouri. Interment will take place at the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery in Bowling Green, Missouri. A general memorial has been established. Charles was born July 25, 1951, in Chapple, Nebraska, the son of Benjamin and Edith (Stoner) Miller. Charles was united in marriage to Lois Beal on October 3, 1973, in Riverside, Iowa.
Charles and Lois lived for 13 years in Oklahoma and later lived in Wayland and Washington before moving to Brighton, Iowa. Charles worked as a mechanic for A & A Auto Salvage in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Charles is survived by his wife, Lois Miller of Brighton, Iowa; daughter, Christine Miller of Brighton, Iowa; son, Charles Miller Jr. of Brighton, Iowa; five grandchildren; and two brothers, Jim Miller and wife Rebecca of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and Tom Miller and wife Joan of Birmingham, Alabama.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Eddie Jilk.
