Obituary

Charlene Marie Freeman, 49, of Washington died Thursday September 2, 2010 at her home in Washington following a sudden illness.

Visitation will begin at 12:00 pm Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at the Jones - Eden Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. Charlene was born on September 7, 1960 in Moline, Illinois the daughter of Jack and Carolyn Freeman. She graduated from United Township High School in East Moline, Illinois in 1978. Charlene was united in marriage to Randy Dulaney in Moline, Illinois. She has been a resident of Washington since 1990. Charlene was a CNA for many years in Washington. She worked for Res Care, the Washington Care Center and staff agencies. She loved gardening, working outside, baking, traveling, and shopping.

Charlene is survived by her children, Thomas Dulaney of Cedar Rapids; Cassandra Dulaney and special friend Daymun Schadt of Brighton; Kenneth Dulaney of Washington; Kiersten Dulaney of Des Moines; Kindra Dulaney and special friend Jeremy Catron of Dallas Center; Matthew Dulaney of Des Moines; two grandchildren, Oscar Schadt and Madison Catron; special friend, Sergio Gonzalez of Washington; parents, Jack and Carolyn Freeman of Florida; one brother, Jeff Freeman of Eldridge; and one sister, Christine Porth of Oskaloosa.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
