Catherine G. Wilson, age 90, of Washington, Iowa, died Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at the M.L. McCreedy Home in Washington after declining in health.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 20, 2013 at the Oregon Township Cemetery in Ainsworth officiated by Pastor Jeff Ide. Online condolences may be sent for Catherine's family through the web at www.jonesfh.com

Catherine was born April 3, 1923 in Pennsylvania, the daughter of George and Helen (Crawford) Loutzenhiser. She was educated in Pennsylvania. Catherine was united in marriage to Roy Robert Wilson on August 26, 1939 in Kentucky.

Catherine moved to Ainsworth in 1946, having lived in Pennsylvania and Texas previously. She was a homemaker, and provided babysitting services in her home. She worked at the American Pearl Button Factory for a short time.

Catherine enjoyed fishing with her husband and pug dogs.

She is survived by her children: daughter Nancy Waltman of Washington, Iowa; daughter Carol Miller and husband Dale of Iowa City, Iowa; and son Roy Wilson II and wife Roberta of Kalona, Iowa; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister Helen Fisher of Greenville, Pennsylvania; and brothers Jack Loutzenhiser and Dave Loutzenhiser, both of Meadville, Pennsylvania.

Catherine was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Roy in 1998; one granddaughter; and brothers Keith and Alton Loutzenhiser.
