Obituary
Carl Jonathan Benson, age 64, passed peacefully at home in Washington, Iowa on July 30, 2020. He is now with his Savior, Jesus Christ, in whom he placed his trust at a young age.

Carl was born to Ward and Hazel Benson on July 9, 1956 in Washington County Hospital.
Carl worked for years as a truck driver, welder and other hands on jobs. He enjoyed long rides on his motorcycle, bowling, helping people and serving as a greeter at church.
He is survived by his son, Eric Paul Benson of Wapello, Iowa; brother, Dave Benson of Plano, Iowa; and sister, Marti (Scott) Owen of Wellman, Iowa.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
