Beverly C. Allen, age 74, of Washington, Iowa died Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at her residence.

Beverly C. Allen was born September 25, 1938 in Alamosa, Colorado to Irby and Dorothy (Martin) Cooper. She graduated from Alamosa High School in 1956 and married Douglas Allen in Taos, New Mexico in 1957. They lived in the San Francisco area before moving to Washington in 1958. They were later divorced.
Beverly worked in accounting most of her life.
She is survived by her daughter Randi Yeggy of Kalona, Iowa; three grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her best friend and companion Frank Wood in 2006.
