Betty J. Fenn, age 81, of Washington, Iowa died suddenly on September 2, 2013

Celebration of life services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 7, 2013 at the Jones Eden Funeral Home with Father Troy Richmond officiating. Visitation will begin noon Friday at the Jones Eden Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 4:30 until 6:30 Friday evening. Betty was born on October 31, 1931 in Wapello County, Iowa the daughter of George and Mary (Knecht) Brown. She received her education in Fairfield, Iowa. She worked in Cedar Rapids and Fairfield, Iowa. Betty was united in marriage to Kenny Fenn on September 1, 1956 in Fairfield, Iowa. Betty and her husband owned and operated Fenn Farm Service until their retirement. Betty enjoyed stock car racing, going fishing with Kenny, embroidery, and crafts.

Betty is survived by her children: Cathy Fenn of Crawfordsville, Iowa; Karen Fenn of Washington, Iowa; and Beth Mikels of Houston, Missouri; granddaughters Amanda Moeller and her husband Jerry of Washington, Iowa and Devon Grimes and her husband Trent of St. Francis, Arkansas; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, twin sister Barb Brown and her brothers Bill Brown and Gerald Brown.
