Arbie and Jim spent most of their married lives together in the Keota area, having lived on their farm in rural Keota and moved to town in 1999. They later relocated to Washington eight years ago. Family and faith were at the center of her life. Arbie was a devoted homemaker who took great pride in raising her family, and she attended Assembly of God Church in Washington. She loved cooking and baking, and also enjoyed shopping, especially at thrift stores. Above all else, Arbie cherished spending time with her children and growing family.
She is survived by her son, Michael “Mike” (Hope) Reed of Keota, Iowa; daughter, Linda Ahrens of Keota Iowa; daughter, Katherine (Jerome) Jaeger of South English, Iowa; and son, Mark (Robin) Reed of Keota, Iowa; along with 13 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Arbie was preceded in death by her husband, Jim, in 2025; her parents; daughter, Theresa Reed; brother, Gilbert Weber; and sister, Donna Baker.
