Anthony Samuel Mondia, age 81, of Washington, Iowa, passed away Saturday, May 10, 2025, at Lantern Park Care Facility in Coralville, Iowa.

Graveside services with military honors conducted by Washington American Legion Post 29 will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, May 19, 2025, at the Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington. Anthony Samuel Mondia was born January 10, 1944, in Washington, Iowa, the son of Anthony and Clara Pearl (Garrett) Mondia. He graduated from Washington High School in 1962. Tony served honorably in the United States Air Force from 1964 until 1968.

Tony is survived by his son, Dev (Carla) Brill of Tulsa, Oklahoma; daughter, Kaja Brill of Bixby, Oklahoma; son, Michael Anthony Mondia of Kentucky; five grandchildren; and one brother, Finley Mondia of Richland, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Michael Mondia.
