Angelo Stanley-Martin, born on January 10, 2026, passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2026, at the Washington County Hospital. Though his time in this world was brief, he was a shining light to those who met him and knew only love in his seven weeks of life.

Angelo will be deeply missed by his loving parents, Jermaine and Jalisa Stanley-Martin of Washington, Iowa; maternal grandparents, Orbie and Melissa Brown of Washington, Iowa; paternal grandparents, Lonzo and Ruby Stanley of Columbus, Wisconsin; maternal great-grandmother, Gwen Shepherd of Washington, Iowa; aunt, Antoinette Diggs of Chicago, Illinois; aunt, Katarina (Shawn) Rodriguez of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; aunt, Mariah Brown of Washington, Iowa; and aunt, Daniella Brown of Washington, Iowa; uncle, Montez Stanley of Las Vegas, Nevada; uncle, Montrell Stanley of Indiana; uncles, Lonzo Stanley, Ashley Stanley, and Anthony Stanley all of Columbus, Wisconsin; and uncle, Jeremy Adams of Washington, Iowa.

Angelo was preceded in death by his great-grandfather, Ed Shepherd; great-grandparents, Francis and Orbie Brown Jr.; and great-grandparents, Lonzo and Ursula Stanley.

A private funeral service will be held on Friday, March 6, 2026, with Pastor Darryl Carr officiating. Visitation will take place from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at the Jones & Eden Funeral Home. A general memorial has been established.
