Kellie Marie Shields, age 62, of Brighton, Iowa, passed away Friday, November 15, 2024, at the Washington County Hospital.

Kellie was born March 25, 1962, in California, the daughter of Norma Jean Wickliff. She was legally adopted by Frank and Barbara Barber at the age of nine. She attended school in California graduating from Paramount High School in 1980. Kellie was united in marriage to the love of her life, James Shields.
Kellie worked as a clerk at Mother Hubbard's Cupboard in Washington, Iowa, for several years.
She is survived by her husband James Shields of Brighton, Iowa; and siblings Catherine Maki, Pamela Kennedy, Terrie Myrdahl, Mary Frostrom, Shellie Mellone, and David Barber.
Kellie was preceded in death by her mother and adopted parents.
